BONDING WITH MY COUSINS

As what I've promised, here's my post about my shopping experience together with my cousins. First stop was the Plains & Prints store of course! Whenever I intend to shop, it's definitely the number one in my list. Always! See items I picked out and tried on..

I actually first saw this top when I bought my all time fave lace shorts from the same brand you can see on my post HERE. This top captured my heart at the first time, look at the lovely prints! I really love it's brand logo sooo much! But unluckily, it ran out of my size in Rob Galleria. I feel sorry that the only store nearest at my place is the one in SM Bacoor. I've wished they'll open a branch in SM Dasma.

Anyhow, now I think it was a lucky day for me as I get to have the items I've been lusting over from their last year's collections. The top and this dress are from the Preppy Paris Collection.

This top's from their Watercolor Collection. Another one I've been eyeing at their Facebook account, since we rarely go to SM Bacoor due to the traffic. I was glad I even get the chance to have it at a fraction of the cost! Although it didn't come with the sash anymore, the sales lady said it's lost, I still knew I had to get it!☺

And lastly, top and shorts from their DNM Collection. I'm a sucker of tops and dresses with sexy back! The first time my eyes laid onto this basic beauty, I was sold!☺

Instead of the orange dress I threw on in the pictures above, I chose the green one since it's the lucky color of the year. Plus the fact that I just bought orange dress during the holiday. Furthermore, I still have orange dress from Plains & Prints that I got for ages and yet haven't find much appropriate event to wear it out.

Do you know that I only saw this freebie recently when I took pictures. This cutie will surely completes my Plains & Prints outfit.♥

Next stop was the Kamiseta and Bayo stores. I learned that Kamiseta moved to smaller place. I found the former place too big anyway. I haven't take pictures of my Kamiseta purchases yet. I got 9 items from the store. Truth be told, I only get to shop massively during sale. On regular priced items, I can only afford one to two items.☺

After a major shopping, our stomachs were rumbling and growling! Haha! When I asked my cousins about the time, it's half past 1:00 pm! Oh my! Oh my! So that's the reason why we're all hungry. I brought them in The Sizzlin' Pepper Steak so my cousins get to try it! Or should I say it's because I really wanna try their Beef Pepper Steak?! Partially!☺
Jezu and I grinning from ear to ear! Showcasing his gum! Haha! Sooo cute!

Me getting to taste the Beef Pepper Steak.☺ And when I did, it's delicious! I think I'll try it once more - or perhaps over and over again! Haha!

My cousin Rizchielle over a Pork BBQ Pepper Rice. She ate like a cockroaches! Haha! Peace my dear cousin! Maybe she didn't like the food. She poured a lot of sauce I guess. When I tried her dish, it didn't wowed me as well. I don't like my BBQ to be sweet as it nearly tasted like tocino for me. I prefer the curry over this BBQ menu. It's only my opinion anyway, if ever you want sweet tasting BBQ - then you can go on in this.☺

After finishing our rice meal, whilst Rizchielle never did, presenting the star of the show...
Turtle Cheesecake
Cheesecake on tiramisu layer with caramel and almond toppings, sprinkled with cocoa.

Cousin Rizchielle picked this out from the dessert menu. We all laughed in astonishment when it was placed on the table. Asking each other "Eto na yun?!" We find it a little pricey at 196.00 for the tad bit serving. After I had a taste, it's too sweet for my liking. I love sweets but definitely not too sweet enough for me to get a diabetes! LOL! Don't get me wrong, the cheesecake with caramel and almond toppings was luscious. And if you ask me if I'm going to have it again? Maybe, but it should be with someone to share with, because I couldn't finish it by myself for sure.

We then went to the seaside and just hang around a little and took some shots - including my outfit shots of course!☺ Then, we went back inside because we couldn't bear the heat.
On Jezu: Ralph Lauren polo shirt / Bonds undershirt / Wrangler shorts / Florsheim shoes

It feels great when you spent some time with your cousins. I'm missing my sister again because if only she's around, she'll definitely wouldn't miss this moment!

Well, it's Friday again. It's as if the week was just started. Just a few days and it will be February. But before that, my eldest Lehem is turning 6 years old at the end of the month. Time really flies too fast! My kids growing up too fast as well! Next time, binata na sila. Hmmm... Even so, they'll forever be my baby! I think, that's for now. Need to fix something for my sister. Til my next post!☺

THE SUN, SEA AND ME

Just a few days before New Year, my family went to Mall of Asia for some quality time together. MOA's having their year-end sale until end of January! My hubby grabbed the opportunity to buy his needed stuffs then. Me? I really had no intention on buying as I did a lot of purchases a week ago. BUT (Yes, with the capital letters!), the sandals that I was wearing that day gave up on me and I think it’ll be forever! It was actually a hand-me-down from my sister that she’d only used for a single time and stored in the closet afterwards. It’s really true that stocked items are easier to break so better use them once in a while.

Well, that's the story of my broken sandals, thus what I'm wearing here was a pair of Parisian Comfy shoes I bought at the Department Store. It's a good thing that I found a pair that somehow match with my jumpsuit. Problem solved! And do you know that I got them at 50% off discount?! Despite my shoe problem, I guess I was lucky still that day!☺

The sun was scorching at me when we had this shot hence the blurred and grainy photos.

Parisian Comfy flats / Forever 21 ring

I'm currently loving this pair! Slipping into them for two consecutive weeks! It's a cap toe style flats in which I am into now! The brand says it all, comfy! They're really one of the comfiest ballet flats I owned!
Regardless of "the sun washes me out" pictures, I find these shots amazing! I mean, with the sea background plus the vessel passing by, my nautical inspired jumpsuit went pretty well together and even matched with the clouds and the sky!

And oh! Speaking of my jumpsuit! Plains & Prints stores are having their end of season's sale! Get up to 70% off!!! Santorini Collection is included in the sale! Bought this jumpsuit last year for Php1,495.00 and now you'll get to have this at half priced Php747.50 only!!! So much savings! Have you noticed I'm a fan of the brand? It's absolutely my fave local brand! I have been in two stores these past weeks and I've spotted other collections on sale! They are the Preppy Paris, Vintage Coral, Athletic Couture, 50's Flair, Neon Wave, Water Color, DNM  and some from the Holiday 2011 Collection! Catch the sale 'til the 30th of January! So if you're a Plains & prints lover like me, head to the store near you before you ran out of sizes! Will post my new shopping finds here soon! Watch out my Plains and Prints store invasion!!!☺

Shopper's Uniform

Christmas is exactly six days away! Everyone's busy buying gifts and sales are everywhere! This is the busiest month of the year for me and I'm sure to everyone! Here's what I wore on our sibling's day out before the Christmas month arrived.
Meet my siblings together with my nephew.

My brother Michael - the sweetest brother in the world!

My siblings and I had a great time together. My sister Cianne bought a travelling bag and booked a flight to Sydney. And the time you're reading this, she's already in Australia. I'm sad because she couldn't celebrate Christmas here. I terribly missing her! If you're a reader, you'd know how really close we are. Thanks to the technology! Communication is much easier and faster!☺
(Forgive my blurred photos. Still have no budget for new camera. DSLR camera is way expensive and sponsors is the only key for me to own one. Calling Mom.. LOL!)

Anyway, I really really love this travelling bag my sister bought. It's so stylish and very light. It has a combination of hard case and durable fabric in addition that it's in my fave color! If only I do travel a lot, I would get one.☺

On to my outfit, I throw on casual clothes - a shopping uniform for "us" girls! Button down shirts/basic tees and shorts combo paired with flats! It's the comfiest ensemble to wear in the mall so I think that's why girls always wear this combo.☺
Levi's tank top / Kamiseta shorts / Landmark belt / SM Accessories pearl earrings

Plains & Prints tie-knot top

Rubi (Cotton On) satchel bag

Aldo stone encrusted flower ring

Steve Madden I-Dentfy flats

Many thanks to my siblings for the photos.☺

Color Blocking (Sister's Bonding)

As I've told you guys, be ready for another sister's bonding post! I squeezed some time with my sister Cianne a few weeks back. She will be studying in Australia next month and we might be getting to do this again after a couple of months maybe if she'll be able to come home on their sembreak in August. We're sporting a color blocking outfit here! It's not yet summer I know! But we wanted to wear our tops out together which are in the same style but differ in color. She's in pink and I'm in turquoise. I paired mine with orange shorts and piled my spiked bangles in the same colors of my outfit. It's a refreshing combo! Hope you guys like it!☺
I finished off the look with snake-skin detail black clutch and stylish black flats.
H&M top / Kamiseta shorts
Landmark belt / Tickles spiked bangles / Twinsies stacked bangles
Rubi (Cotton On) flats

Here's a sneak peek of my sister's outfit.☺
We spent hours together just strolling and shopping and to our horror, it's already dark outside! We looked for a food to grab for takeout because I knew I'll be running out of time to cook. And we were delighted when we found out that there's a BonChon Chicken in SM Dasma!

We actually just ate the fries while waiting for our takeout orders. Afterwards, we looked for a nice place for some outfits shots.☺☺☺
I didn't shop much! I only own one of these paper bags.☺
My sister and I bought the same shoes from Charles & Keith. At first, there's uncertainty in me on getting the pair. But after my sister's encouragements, and the thought that having the same shoes as my sister is really cool, I finally gave in!☺
Aren't this pair of booties lovely?! I just hope these deadly heels won't break or my heels will surely be broken! (Crossing my fingers together with my toes! LOL!)

Hope you guys doing great! Have a happy weekend!

Satin Here & There (Sister's Bonding)

Last Saturday, SM Dasma was on 2nd day sale so there were tons of bargain everywhere! My sis & I instantly decided to catch the sale in the said mall for great shopping deals we might find. I was in a hurry heading out the door that day so I just donned in any clothes I grabbed. But only now I've noticed that I'm wearing satin on satin here. Even my bag team-up with my clothes!☺
Plains & Prints blouse and shorts
What I usually wear when shopping? Same as every girl would like to wear like comfy clothes that I can easily move around in.
Crocs Mccall flats
Flats or comfy shoes that will save my feet from hurting on excessive walking.
This is my "sakit-ng-ulo-ko" pose. LOL!

Minimal accessories as possible for less distraction. A watch is a must have for a hands-on mom like me to keep me updated on time as I don't have all the time to shop and can't afford to be away from my kids for a long time.
Olive green bucket bag from Australia

Lastly, a reliable bag that can accommodate my stuffs. Not too small but definitely not too big so I can move around with it.

I wanna share with you guys great bargains I've got from one of my fave local brands - Kamiseta! Got them all at 50% off!!! I'm such a lucky gal!☺☺☺
I'm really happy with my purchases. They're such great finds! I'd be much happier if there's a Plains & Prints store in SM Dasma. Needless to say, I'm very much satisfied. It's been a fun day to me as it always turned out whenever I'm with my sister doing our greatest bonding ever - shopping! How about you, what bonding do you do with your sister? I'd be happy to know.☺

Accessorizing (Sister's Bonding)

Accessories make an instant transition to a basic or boring outfit. A girl's best friend indeed! They are actually one of my weaknesses! Find out what I got from shopping while waiting on my sister taking the IELTS exam..

This was my outfit on accompanying my sister at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ortigas. Button down shirts never fail me when I wanna look presentable and casual at the same time. I tucked this gold stripes polo shirt inside my skinny jeans and go for my ballet flats suited for my shopping agenda.☺☺☺
Zara button down shirt / Kamiseta skinny jeans / Cotton On flats
Celine (Paris) vintage bag / SM Accessories oversized red ring

The exam will start at 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. We arrived in the hotel before 7:00 am so we had to wait for about an hour. When my sister finally went inside the designated area for examiners, I just stayed at the lobby 'til 9:00 am since malls usually open around 9:00-10:00 am. I spent the remaining hours shopping and eating alone in the nearest mall I spotted (Rob Galleria). See what I bought..
Plains & Prints lace shorts

When I saw this lace shorts, I fell in love instantly! So I never stepped out the store without getting it. Oh dear! Can't wait to wear it! Surely, you'll gonna see me in this soon!☺

After my sister's exam, we go eating and shopping together. It's more fun when you have someone doing something together, isn't it?! See what we got!
Belts and dotted ribbons from Genevieve Gozum

These dotted ribbons are versatile! I wore mine as a headband while my sister used hers as a belt. I'm excited on how many ways I could style up with these ribbons. Find out on my next posts perhaps!☺
On my sis: H&M polo shirt / Forever 21 skinny jeans / Equip bracelets / Artwork denim loafers
