My sister Cianne recently underwent medical examination in Makati for student visa application to Australia. Of course, she tagged me along. After that, we look for a nice place for outfit shots and we fell upon this park.

I was in a girly mood so I ended up wearing a skirt. No garment is girlier than skirt. You think so?

 

Everything on my skirt exudes femininity! The A-line cut, floral print in pastel hues which generally added more feminine touch. This skirt has a youthful and flirtatious appeal so I opted to team it with my button down polo shirt in deep plum to balance out the look.

I polished the look with more pastel accessories and go with these braided flats in turquoise. I also added a shade of classic color - red to make the look more interesting.

I encouraged my sister to make a blog of her personal fashion style. But since she's very busy this month complying all the requirements for her study in Australia, I always make sure to have a shot of her outfit every time we go out so that she'll have looks to post when she found time to blog. Ne-On Trend!

I mentioned in my previous blog HERE that I'am scared in pulling off neon clothes because of my skin color. But one time, I was browsing through my files when I saw my graduation pics wherein I was wearing a bit loud colors in salmon pink dress and hot pink shoes. I intended to wear happy colors on my graduation day to correspond my good spirit. I was actually hesitant to wear that dress too but I wanted to wear a color contrasted to my black toga. I think I should share my graduation pics and stories here next time. But for now, here's a sneak peek of my graduation outfit..

I've just realized that I'm capable of pulling off neons all along! I also learned that I can tame down neon colors a bit by mixing it with neutrals. Like this dress for example because it has a black lace on it.

So now, here's my take on the neon trend..

I wore this outfit on the night of All Saint's Day wherein I became visible even at the darkest spot of the world! LOL! I was actually uncertain if I can wear this top or not. But I decided to give it a try. I just wore a black shrunken blazer to back-up my shorts in toning down my top and to make the look more cohesive. 

I think it's not bad at all for my skin tone. Actually, it helps a lot for dark skin people like me to be easily seen especially at the night.☺ Haha! And after giving it a try, I'm all for it!

Accessorizing (Sister's Bonding)

Accessories make an instant transition to a basic or boring outfit. A girl's best friend indeed! They are actually one of my weaknesses! Find out what I got from shopping while waiting on my sister taking the IELTS exam..

This was my outfit on accompanying my sister at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ortigas. Button down shirts never fail me when I wanna look presentable and casual at the same time. I tucked this gold stripes polo shirt inside my skinny jeans and go for my ballet flats suited for my shopping agenda.☺☺☺

The exam will start at 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. We arrived in the hotel before 7:00 am so we had to wait for about an hour. When my sister finally went inside the designated area for examiners, I just stayed at the lobby 'til 9:00 am since malls usually open around 9:00-10:00 am. I spent the remaining hours shopping and eating alone in the nearest mall I spotted (Rob Galleria). See what I bought..

When I saw this lace shorts, I fell in love instantly! So I never stepped out the store without getting it. Oh dear! Can't wait to wear it! Surely, you'll gonna see me in this soon!☺

Lovin' Laces

It took me such a looong time to post this outfit photos. I've been very busy these past few months doing my thesis as a requirement for my course. I was relieved when I passed through all the processes with flying colors. Finally, I'm graduated! But still, being a mom and entrepreneur at the same time needs me to put a lot of effort in managing my time. I'm giving myself some time to adjust.☺

This is actually one of my backlogs from the month of February! Yes, that looong! That merely explained how really busy I was and never got some time for my blog. But I tried my best to take some outfit shots whenever I can. Anyhow, this was my outfit on my cousin's birthday last February.

As a mom, wearing lace clothing is my best way to look sexy without showing too much skin. I have penchant on lace and eyelet materials. They are very feminine and simply sexy.

I'm so in love with this lace top from Kamiseta. Of course, I got this in other colors too. It can be worn with an inner top or tube for those who are conservative. But if you're a bit daring, just wear a nice bra underneath. I opted to wear it with my t-shirt bra. Who wouldn't want to look sexy anyway?! Just remember to always make it simple and don't overdo the top or else you'll be getting a hell-of-raising-eyebrows-look everywhere! I wanna be daring some time but being a mom and a married woman, I know my limitations. You might see me in anything see-through materials but I will never show off too much skin. Wala din naman akong K! Haha!

I had my top tucked inside my lace tiered skirt with a popping purple at the hem. The skirt is actually a reversible skirt in black and purple, it's like I'm getting two skirts in one piece! I chose the black side to play off with my sister in black and white theme.

A Day To The Zoo

I'm a newbie here and this is my first time to blog. A famous fashion icon slash blogger inspires me to create my own blog. Though, I've been dreaming to be a blogger for quite some time. I know I have lot of things to learn but for sure I have lot of things to share. Enjoy reading!☺☺☺

Last week was my sister’s birthday. We both have two kids and they are all boys! Instead of going to the mall, my sister opted to treat us to Manila Zoo as what she had promised to her eldest son. I left Jezu (my youngest son) with his Daddy and I only got Lehem (my eldest) with me. It’s more convenient for me as I only have one kid to watch over and definitely no one to carry. :) But being a mom, whenever I am and whatever I do, I can’t help myself thinking my other child left at home. Next time, I should have brought him with me. See what I wore to the zoo..

I chose this purple top with lace back to keep me cool since summer season has just started. This top was one of my recent purchases from Kamiseta. Look how sexy the back was.☺

Ohhh! An hour walk made our faces oily! We need retouch please!

I opted to wear lace-up sandals instead of sneakers to add chicness to the outfit. This chantaco bag from Lacoste is one of my fave carry all along bags. For me, it's the perfect bag for any trip especially when I have my little boy with me. It's very roomy and could carry all our stuffs.☺

I had a lot of fun that day. It's really nice to have some time with your family once in a while. A family bonding, friend bonding, GF/BF bonding and the likes are really essential to live a happy and fulfilling life. It's a good way of building any relationships stronger and healthier.
