EVEN MORE CASUAL

And here me again in button-down shirt and shorts ensemble!☺ This is my to-go outfit during casual days. I made the look more casual by wearing a pair of sneakers and throwing on a sling bag.

Wore this on my child's visit to his pedia. While waiting for our turn, I decided to take some outfit shots with my little boy.
I also rolled up my shirt's sleeves for even more casual look. And I wanna say that I'm loving the back detail of this top. Ahem.. Pardon my mussy shirt.

NEW LOOK FOR 2013!

Happy New Year everyone! Hope I'm not too late to greet you guys!☺ It's quite a long time since my last post. Last month was the busiest December months I ever had! Right after my sister left to Sydney, I instantly become the mother of her children. Thus, I had no time to blog these past few weeks as I've been adjusting and focusing on my nephews trying not to sacrifice my own family needs.

Anyway, see my new look to greet you in 2013! I wore this outfit on our family pictorial.
Notice something different on me? Yes! I have bangs! I've been wanting to have it ever since the donut-bun hair style becomes this season's trend. However I just had the time to have it last week of November. At first, I was afraid it might look like "Dora bangs" on me but I wanted to try something new so there I have it! Good thing it's not bad on me though.☺

Now that I'm done about my bangs, let me tell you some details regarding my outfit. All of us agreed to wear white tops paired with any colored bottoms and preferably colorful or in bright colors.
H&M knit top / SM Accessories pearl earrings / Twinsies Shop peter pan collar necklace

The top I'm wearing here isn't really white but off-white instead. It wasn't exactly the top I've planned to wear the night before. Originally was an eyelet top with cut out shoulders but I hadn't tried it on with this skirt prior that day so I haven't had idea that they won't go perfectly together when worn. Maybe my body figure was the problem! Haha! I've learned my lessons. Next time, I should try clothes on first so I won't rummaging my closet and get into dressing trouble! Anything you think would look perfect together might not look perfectly good when you pull them off na.
I was lucky that I saw this top hiding inside my closet and saved me from my fashion problem. Plus point the sexy back!☺ It's actually a long top that could perfectly goes well with leggings too! And I guess you guys also noticed how colorful and eye-catching my skirt was?! It's dainty and oh so adorable! If you look closely, the texture is amazingly unique! I saw this kind of material used in head band and ponytails. It's super stretchy and fits really really well that could even pass on as a girdle. Who would have thought that this could be a skirt material?! The one who made this skirt is indeed genius!☺☺☺

I finished off the look with colorful accessories as well. I love how the colors and zigzag-y formed stacked bangles of mine perfectly matched with my skirt!

I got new look for 2013! How about you? Will you go for new hairstyle? It feels great when you try something new once in a while. It gives off a refreshing vibe! Hope this year will be more fun, exciting and flourishing to each and everyone! It's the second week of the year and it'll be weekend again. A quality time with my family awaits. Have a great weekend to all of us!☺

Color Blocking (Sister's Bonding)

As I've told you guys, be ready for another sister's bonding post! I squeezed some time with my sister Cianne a few weeks back. She will be studying in Australia next month and we might be getting to do this again after a couple of months maybe if she'll be able to come home on their sembreak in August. We're sporting a color blocking outfit here! It's not yet summer I know! But we wanted to wear our tops out together which are in the same style but differ in color. She's in pink and I'm in turquoise. I paired mine with orange shorts and piled my spiked bangles in the same colors of my outfit. It's a refreshing combo! Hope you guys like it!☺
I finished off the look with snake-skin detail black clutch and stylish black flats.
H&M top / Kamiseta shorts
Landmark belt / Tickles spiked bangles / Twinsies stacked bangles
Rubi (Cotton On) flats

Here's a sneak peek of my sister's outfit.☺
We spent hours together just strolling and shopping and to our horror, it's already dark outside! We looked for a food to grab for takeout because I knew I'll be running out of time to cook. And we were delighted when we found out that there's a BonChon Chicken in SM Dasma!

We actually just ate the fries while waiting for our takeout orders. Afterwards, we looked for a nice place for some outfits shots.☺☺☺
I didn't shop much! I only own one of these paper bags.☺
My sister and I bought the same shoes from Charles & Keith. At first, there's uncertainty in me on getting the pair. But after my sister's encouragements, and the thought that having the same shoes as my sister is really cool, I finally gave in!☺
Aren't this pair of booties lovely?! I just hope these deadly heels won't break or my heels will surely be broken! (Crossing my fingers together with my toes! LOL!)

Hope you guys doing great! Have a happy weekend!

Fun Tough Girl

A few weeks back, my sister received a good news! Her student visa application to Australia has been granted! And because we're too excited to have it in our hands, we went to Makati the very next day. We're rejoicing and even felt that we can party all night hence I rocked in this outfit.
I created a look with fun tough girl touches. I started the look with these booties. How I love that they're made of glittery snakeskin-like fabric that looks like a leather which instantly gives off an edgy vibe. I also love that they come in peep toe style and fabric material allowing just enough ventilation for my feet. And oh! They are wedges, just the things I needed! I'm just 5'2", so wearing heeled shoes is my way to look taller.☺ But some heels make my feet hurt so I always got blisters at the end of the day. Good thing that there are wedge shoes which are less painful compared to other heels because there is more  support under the arch of the foot. I love, love, love wedges!
I wore a skirt with similar colors and detail with my wedges - black and metallic in animalistic print. To add a twist, I paired it up with this orange top that has a nice back detail.
This top is actually one of my faves! I've been paired it with almost everything! And I can still have numerous pieces in my head to mix  with it.☺ And it's also my first garment in orange color. I was skeptical in wearing orange before. I just learned that choosing the right hues is the key. Now, I'm buying more orange and tries the other hues as well like salmon to tangerine.☺

To achieved a tough look, you'll never go wrong with spikes or studs! In this look, I showed off my dangerous side by putting on a spiked bracelet.☺

My sister had an outfit shots too but I won't spill it this time. She'll be posting it on her blog she's working out. Anyhow, did I achieved an edgy look here? I hope so! Have a great weekend everyone!☺

Plain & Printed

My sister Cianne recently underwent medical examination in Makati for student visa application to Australia. Of course, she tagged me along. After that, we look for a nice place for outfit shots and we fell upon this park.
I was in a girly mood so I ended up wearing a skirt. No garment is girlier than skirt. You think so?

Everything on my skirt exudes femininity! The A-line cut, floral print in pastel hues which generally added more feminine touch. This skirt has a youthful and flirtatious appeal so I opted to team it with my button down polo shirt in deep plum to balance out the look.
I polished the look with more pastel accessories and go with these braided flats in turquoise. I also added a shade of classic color - red to make the look more interesting.
Equip purple stud earrings / Twinsies pastel stacked bangles / satchel bag (borrowed from my sister) / Maybelline lipstick in Angel Rose
Zara polo shirt / Cotton On skirt / H&M braided flats

I encouraged my sister to make a blog of her personal fashion style. But since she's very busy this month complying all the requirements for her study in Australia, I always make sure to have a shot of her outfit every time we go out so that she'll have looks to post when she found time to blog. For now, let's take a peek of her look..
Gorgeous!

Well, I wouldn't say much about her outfit. Let her give you the details once she started blogging. I do a lot of bonding with her nowadays so expect for more sister's bonding posts! How about you guys? What are you up to?

Ne-On Trend!

I mentioned in my previous blog HERE that I'am scared in pulling off neon clothes because of my skin color. But one time, I was browsing through my files when I saw my graduation pics wherein I was wearing a bit loud colors in salmon pink dress and hot pink shoes. I intended to wear happy colors on my graduation day to correspond my good spirit. I was actually hesitant to wear that dress too but I wanted to wear a color contrasted to my black toga. I think I should share my graduation pics and stories here next time. But for now, here's a sneak peek of my graduation outfit..
I've just realized that I'm capable of pulling off neons all along! I also learned that I can tame down neon colors a bit by mixing it with neutrals. Like this dress for example because it has a black lace on it.

So now, here's my take on the neon trend..
I wore this outfit on the night of All Saint's Day wherein I became visible even at the darkest spot of the world! LOL! I was actually uncertain if I can wear this top or not. But I decided to give it a try. I just wore a black shrunken blazer to back-up my shorts in toning down my top and to make the look more cohesive.

I think it's not bad at all for my skin tone. Actually, it helps a lot for dark skin people like me to be easily seen especially at the night.☺ Haha! And after giving it a try, I'm all for it!

My cousin (Hi there Jov!) Took all the shots for my outfit post. And because no other people around except my cousins and Titos, (I don't mind their grins though!) excuse me if I cam whore a lot!☺

Did I bombarded you guys with my pictures?! LOL! I can't help it! I find the place perfect in taking blog pictures. Who would have thought that these were taken at the cemetery? I think if ever I can't find place for my outfit shots, this place would probably be on my list.☺

Now, let's take a peek on my little boys outfit...

Love these two cuties! I know I can't always be there for them, so I make sure that they feel loved every single day.
